I figure now that I have an iPad there’s really no excuse for me to not use Tumblr. We’ll see how long it lasts since the last time I posted was more than a year ago. Lol.
Forrest: You died on a Saturday morning. And I had you placed here under our tree. And I had that house of your father’s bulldozed to the ground. Momma always said dyin’ was a part of life. I sure wish it wasn’t. Little Forrest, he’s doing just fine. About to start school again soon. I make his breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day. I make sure he combs his hair and brushes his teeth every day. Teaching him how to play ping-pong. He’s really good. We fish a lot. And every night, we read a book. He’s so smart, Jenny. You’d be so proud of him. I am. He, uh, wrote a letter, and he says I can’t read it. I’m not supposed to, so I’ll just leave it here for you. Jenny, I don’t know if Momma was right or if, if it’s Lieutenant Dan. I don’t know if we each have a destiny, or if we’re all just floating around accidental-like on a breeze, but I, I think maybe it’s both. Maybe both is happening at the same time. I miss you, Jenny. If there’s anything you need, I won’t be far away.
I think I’ll watch this movie now. I love this movie (I love all Tom Hanks movies other than the Dan Brown ones…) and this is deffinately the best part. :)

Honestly, time is the best gift you can give. Offer to help her carry something if she has a lot of books to carry or offer to help her with homework in a subject she struggles with. Try and fit a hug in or touch her shoulder from time to time. That’s the best you can do to ensure you won’t end up in the friend zone. DOING things is far better than giving gifts. Good luck :) And if she starts showing signs that make you wonder if you should back off, back off; little by little. The worst thing you can do is be overbearing. And finally, TALK TO HER about how you feel! After all the amazing things you’ll be doing for her, chances are she’ll feel the same!

I’m sick and tired of people talking about “friends”.
I’m sick of people who don’t think they have any friends.
I’m sick of people who think they have over 10 “best friends”
Both of you are wrong.
Everyone has a friend of some sort.
They may not be your BEST friend, they may not be your “soul sister” or “brother from another mother” but you always have someone who would care if you weren’t there some day.
I don’t care if you don’t believe it, its true.
You might be thinking “no, I could die today and no one would care.”
Yes.
Someone would.
Stop kidding yourself, no one lives that far under the radar.
No. You’re not the exception.
I’m sick of people going around saying that they have 20 best friends.
No. You don’t.
A best friend is someone who puts your happiness before their own.
A best friend is someone who will sit down with you while you cry for 4 hours about something totally pointless and not make you feel like an idiot for doing it.
AND they won’t talk to their other friends about it behind your back.
Best friends just don’t do that.
Best friends don’t gossip about their best friends to other people.
They don’t tell your secrets to people they “thought they could trust”
A best friend is someone you have hundreds of things in common with.
And if not, you compromise to make each other happy.
A best friend doesn’t make you self-conscious or uncomfortable.
A best friend doesn’t make you lie about important things that could get you in trouble.
A best friend doesn’t ditch you because their life is more important than yours, no matter how frivolous what you’re doing is.
A best friend stands by you even if they think you might be wrong.
A BEST FRIEND DOES NOT SLEEP WITH THEIR BEST FRIEND’S BOYFRIEND/GIRLFRIEND!
No matter how long is was since you broke up.
Doesn’t matter.
Best friends don’t do that.
If someone doesn’t appreciate you for EVERYTHING that you are, they’re not worthy of being your friend.
If you have five best friends, if you have one best friend, if your best friend is your mom, your sister, your brother, your neighbour, your boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, fiancée, aunt, uncle, cousin, pastor IT DOESN’T MATTER.
But stop acting like you’re something you’re not.
Those girls who say they care about you and then leave you drunk on the sidewalk for your parents or the police to find you… newsflash. They’re not your friends.
Those guys who won’t talk to you when some kid accuses you of being gay… they’re not your friends either.
The guys who stick around and yell “fight fight fight” when some other guy attacks you… they’re not your friends.
The girls who pressure you to do drugs…
The guys who tell you you’re not cool if you’re a virgin…
The girls who call you a slut behind your back…
The guys who tell your secrets in the locker room…
The girls who flirt with your boyfriend/ex boyfriend…
The guys who get you drunk and shave off your eyebrow…
The girls who let you go home with a complete stranger…
The guys who make you feel inferior…
The girls who tell you you’re not pretty enough…
THEY’RE NOT YOUR FRIENDS!
And you never know. You may have friends out there you’ve never knew about.
The girl who smiles at you in the hallway every day…
The guy who gives you a high five after a great play…
The girl who always makes sure to get your homework for you when you’re away…
The guy who sticks up for you when the other guys start ragging on you for stuff that’s not your fault…
They could be your best friend in disguise.
Give people a chance.
And stop treating your “friends” like shit.
Be a friend, and you’ll have friends.
That’s how life works.
Sometimes one amazing friend is enough. One who will be there for you rain or shine, night or day. One who will take the time to be there for you NO MATTER WHAT, even if it is inconvenient for them.
I know I have one.

What’s your favorite activity to do with your boyfriend?
With my fioncé, I love to watch movies. Lots and lots and LOTS of movies. However I love to watch them at home. Where you can cuddle and talk and pause the movie if something comes up and you can eat whatever you want and do whatever you want :P
